This apparatus was constructed by Hugh Houghton, using the Collation Editor developed by Catherine Smith for the Workspace for Collaborative Editing. The transcription workflow was managed and overseen by Amy Myshrall, following on from Rachel Kevern who oversaw the initial stages. We would like to thank Bruce Morrill for co-ordinating volunteer transcribers based in the USA, and Marie-Luise Lakmann for her guidance on the ECM principles of apparatus construction.
The preparation of this apparatus was undertaken as part of the CATENA project, which has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement no. 770816). The Greek transcriptions used for this apparatus (and to which it links) include work funded by the British Academy (SG-111631 [2012-14] and SG-131518 [2014-16] for the scanning of microfilm; SG-153024 [2016-18] for 75 reconciled transcriptions). From 2018-20, many of the remaining transcriptions were made by participants in the CATENA project. The transcriptions of P46, P51, 01, 02, 03 and 04 were taken from those created by the Institut für neutestamentliche Textforschung (INTF) and made available on the New Testament Virtual Manuscript Room under a Creative Commons attribution licence.
The editors are very grateful to all who have assisted the project with transcriptions, especially volunteers from around the world. The following contributed to this work between 2012 and 2020 (in alphabetical order):
